Sebastián is a Member of McKinsey Private Capital leadership team in Europe, where he is responsible for People and leads the practice in Spain and Portugal.
Since joining the Madrid office in 2000, Sebastián has worked with leading institutions across multiple sectors (including Travel, Technology, and Retail), focusing his work on corporate strategy, M&A, and transformation.
In the field of M&A, Sebastián has supported large corporate clients through various phases of changes (analysis, origination, execution, integration), participating in over 20 acquisitions and divestitures and more than 10 integrations with values exceeding EUR 1 billion.
In the Private Capital sector, he has led over 50 commercial due diligences (buy-side or sell-side) for leading investors and worked with more than 15 portfolio companies on acceleration and transformation plans, being one of the architects of our "Full Potential Plan" methodology.
